Episode Summary: SurvivorElo Episode 13
Quick refresher: SHALLOW rates strategic positioning (voting correctly + outlasting + jury votes). BEAST rates challenge performance. Both use Elo, so gains and losses depend on relative ratings. Full methodology at survivorelo.com.
Episode 13: What Happened
Five players entered Day 24. Jonathan won F5 immunity over Aubry, Joe, Rizo, and Tiffany. At tribal, Rizo played his Hidden Idol on himself for safety; no votes were cast against him, so the play registered as "Not needed." The alliance of four held the planned vote; Rizo, Jonathan, Aubry, and Joe voted Tiffany. Tiffany cast the lone dissenting vote for Aubry. Tiffany was voted out 4-1 as the 19th boot and tenth juror.
Day 25 produced the F4 immunity challenge. Aubry won the Simmotion ball drop, a challenge selected by fan vote; it was her first individual immunity of US50 and her first US individual immunity since Game Changers in 2017. She has said in exit press that she ordered a replica of the Simmotion challenge to practice at home after seeing it on the public mechanics list. She chose to take Joe directly to the Final 3 and sent Jonathan and Rizo to fire. Jeff Probst, during a live finale segment, accidentally identified Rizo as the final juror before the fire-making challenge had aired; the segment ran anyway, and Jonathan won fire. Rizo was eliminated and became the eleventh juror.
At Final Tribal Council the jury voted 8-3-0 for Aubry over Jonathan and Joe. Aubry is the Sole Survivor of Survivor 50.
Aubry's Final Tribal
Aubry entered the FTC at 1637.7 SHALLOW after voting Tiffany out at the F5 tribal. The Final Tribal vote of 8-3-0 added 56.1 SHALLOW; she finished at 1693.8.
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Pre-FTC | 1637.7 (A) |
| Post-FTC | 1693.8 (A) |
| FTC Change | +56.1 |
| Jury Result | 8 votes (won) |
| Jury Matchups | 16W-3L |
| Season Total | +158.6 |
| Final US50 Vote Record | 17W-0L |
The model treats Final Tribal as a set of matchups: every juror who voted Aubry counts as two wins (against the two other finalists they did not vote for), and every juror who voted elsewhere counts as one loss. Eight jurors for Aubry, three for Jonathan, zero for Joe produces 16 wins and 3 losses for Aubry. The 16W-3L line at FTC is the largest jury matchup advantage available at an FTC with three finalists and an 11-person jury.
Aubry's +158.6 season change is the largest single-season SHALLOW change in US50. The next-largest is Rizo's +99.5; Joe's +60.4 finishes third. Aubry finishes with a 17W-0L US50 vote record; Joe at 19W-0L and Rizo at 19W-0L are the only other perfect vote lines on the cast at season's end. Aubry attended fewer tribals than either; the model values matchup quality over volume.
Aubry's career SHALLOW peak is now 1693.8, up from 1605.5 set after her runner-up finish on Kaôh Rōng. She sits at #6 among active US players, up from outside the top 20 entering US50. Her +158.6 is also the largest single-season gain of her career, ahead of her +105.5 from Kaôh Rōng.
Joe's Jury Shutout
Joe entered FTC at 1672.0, the highest-rated finalist by 26.6 points over Jonathan and 34.3 over Aubry. He left at 1623.9.
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Pre-FTC | 1672.0 (A) |
| Post-FTC | 1623.9 (A) |
| FTC Change | -48.1 |
| Jury Result | 0 votes |
| Jury Matchups | 0W-11L |
| Season Total | +60.4 |
| Final US50 Vote Record | 19W-0L |
Joe took 11 jury matchup losses, one for each of the 11 jurors who voted for someone else. The model assigns the steepest FTC penalty to the highest-rated finalist on a shutout: he was expected to win the most matchups, and lost all of them. His -48.1 is the largest SHALLOW loss at any single tribal of his US50 run.
Joe finishes US50 at 1623.9 with a 19W-0L vote record. He and Rizo hold the most matchup wins on perfect vote lines, 19 each. The shutout has not erased his season gain; his +60.4 places him third in US50 SHALLOW change behind Aubry (+158.6) and Rizo (+99.5). At Final Tribal, Emily Flippen and Coach Wade both noted that every post-merge vote ran through Joe before being confirmed; the jury heard the same thing the model registered and still voted elsewhere. The model registers him as a strong strategic player who lost the game in front of the jury.
His final BEAST is 1673.5, the highest of any US50 finisher and the highest US50 ending BEAST overall. His combined SHALLOW+BEAST profile makes him the most balanced player on the US50 cast and one of the most balanced active US players overall.
Jonathan's Fire-Making Win
Jonathan entered F4 at 1638.2 after voting Tiffany out at F5. He won the fire-making challenge against Rizo, then took three jury votes at FTC.
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Pre-F5 tribal | 1635.3 (A) |
| Post-F5 tribal | 1638.2 (A) |
| Post-Fire and F4 outlast | 1645.4 (A) |
| Post-FTC | 1637.4 (A) |
| Ep13 Total Change | +2.1 |
| Jury Result | 3 votes |
| Jury Matchups | 6W-8L |
| Season Total | +42.8 |
| Final US50 Vote Record | 14W-24L |
Jonathan's net Episode 13 change is +2.1. The correct vote at F5 paid +2.9. The fire-making win against Rizo paid +4.2, plus +2.9 in outlast credit for surviving him. The FTC result subtracted 8.0; the 6 jury wins from his three vote-getters were outweighed by the 8 losses from jurors who chose someone else.
His +42.8 season change is the fifth-largest in US50, behind Aubry (+158.6), Rizo (+99.5), Ozzy (+78.4), and Joe (+60.4). He carried a 4W-24L US50 record into Episode 9 and finishes 14W-24L; the model registers ten correct votes in a row from Episode 9 onward.
Jonathan's career US rating sits at 1637.4, the highest SHALLOW rating of his career across multiple appearances. He moves from outside the active top 30 entering US50 into the top 15 active US players.
Tiffany's Final 5 Exit
Tiffany entered Episode 13 at 1542.4 and exited at 1519.8.
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Pre-Ep13 | 1542.4 (B) |
| Post-Ep13 | 1519.8 (B) |
| Episode Change | -22.6 |
| Vote Record | 0W-4L (voted Aubry; lost to Rizo, Jonathan, Aubry, Joe) |
| Outlast Record | 0W-4L (outlasted by all four) |
| Season Total | +7.4 |
| Final US50 Vote Record | 11W-23L |
Tiffany's -22.6 is the smallest single-episode boot loss of the post-merge in US50, smaller than Ozzy's -27.3 in Episode 11. The split arises because she only lost matchups to four opponents (the F4) rather than to a full post-merge field. Her +7.4 season change is the smallest positive change of any eliminated player who attended a tribal council.
Her two individual immunity wins (Episode 10 and Episode 12) make her the only non-finalist with multiple individual immunity wins in US50. The model registers her as a strong individual challenge performer whose strategic voting line (11W-23L) caps her SHALLOW upside.

| 20 | Tiffany | 1512.4 | 1519.8 (B) | +7.4 | 5th | 11W-23L |
| 21 | Angelina | 1527.7 | 1504.7 (C) | -23.0 | 5th boot | 2W-7L |
| 22 | Q | 1547.2 | 1503.4 (C) | -43.8 | 3rd boot | 0W-5L |
| 23 | Dee | 1586.1 | 1501.0 (C) | -85.1 | 10th boot | 4W-12L |
| 24 | Chrissy | 1529.0 | 1481.0 (C) | -48.0 | 11th boot | 4W-20L |
The model places the season's eliminated #1 (Cirie at 1706.1) above the winner (Aubry at 1693.8). Cirie's pre-season rating reflected six prior US appearances including a Heroes vs. Villains run, a HHH win at the merge, and the Edge of the Earth Edge stretch; she gained +23.1 net despite losing the game. The career rating is a function of total history, not single-season outcome. Aubry's +158.6 will catch and pass Cirie's rating only with another full strategic season.
Quick Hits
Three of the Final 4 finished US50 with zero wrong votes. Aubry 17W-0L, Joe 19W-0L, Rizo 19W-0L. Joe and Rizo tie for the longest perfect vote line on the US50 cast at 19 matchup wins. Jonathan finished 14W-24L; the 24 wrong votes are concentrated in 4 from an Episode 5 tribe swap and 20 from the Episode 8 double tribal, and he has voted correctly at every tribal since.
Finale finish does not scale smoothly. Tiffany at 5th lost 22.6 SHALLOW; Rizo at 4th lost only 4.2. The fire-making mechanic compresses the transition from F4 to F3 into a single one-on-one matchup, while the F5 boot takes four vote losses and four outlast losses across the entire field. The Elo cost of finishing 4th is smaller than the cost of finishing 5th by a factor of five.
Aubry's +56.1 at FTC is the largest gain at any single tribal in US50. Bigger than Jonathan's +15.6 at the Episode 11 double tribal and bigger than any pre-merge gain. The math is structural: FTC is the only tribal where one player can win 16 matchups simultaneously against an 11-person jury.
Rizo's fire loss did not change his finish in the model. Rizo finished US50 at 1657.0, third on the cast behind Cirie and Aubry. Had he won fire and reached FTC with similar jury results, he likely posts a worse net change than his 4th-place finish; the F4 boot escapes the FTC matchup loss that flattens runners-up. Joe's -48.1 illustrates the runner-up tax.
BEAST Update
Jonathan's F5 immunity win and Aubry's F4 immunity win produced the two largest BEAST swings of the night.
| Player | Pre-Ep13 BEAST | Post-Ep13 BEAST | Ep13 Change | F5 Finish | F4 Finish | Fire |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aubry | 1415.8 | 1438.4 | +22.6 | 5th | 1st | -- |
| Jonathan | 1553.5 | 1551.2 | -2.3 | 1st | 4th | Won |
| Joe | 1688.0 | 1673.5 | -14.5 | 2nd | 2nd | -- |
| Tiffany | 1569.1 | 1561.7 | -7.4 | 3rd | -- | -- |
| Rizo | 1326.2 | 1327.7 | +1.5 | -- | 3rd | Lost |
Aubry entered the F4 challenge at 1411.5 BEAST and beat Joe (1678.4), Jonathan (1556.5), and Rizo (1323.2). The 11.5 swing she earned on Joe alone is her largest BEAST gain from a single matchup in her career.
Joe finished US50 at 1673.5 BEAST, the highest ending BEAST of any US50 player. His ratio of SHALLOW (1623.9) to BEAST (1673.5) is uniquely balanced; he is the only finalist with BEAST above SHALLOW.
Cirie ended US50 at 1307.6 BEAST after eight straight challenge losses across the post-merge. Her SHALLOW 1706.1 to BEAST 1307.6 spread of 398 points is the widest gap of any active US player. The model has her as the third-best active US player strategically and the worst US challenge performer with at least four US50 challenges played.
Compare: The Final 5 by Prior Experience
All five entered US50 with prior US Survivor appearances; Joe and Rizo carried the least history, one prior season each.
| Pre-US50 | Post-US50 | Season Change | Final Active Rank | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aubry | 1535.2 (3 prior seasons) | 1693.8 | +158.6 | #6 |
| Rizo | 1557.5 (1 prior season) | 1657.0 | +99.5 | #11 |
| Joe | 1563.5 (1 prior season) | 1623.9 | +60.4 | #19 |
| Jonathan | 1594.6 (2 prior seasons) | 1637.4 | +42.8 | #14 |
| Tiffany | 1512.4 (1 prior season) | 1519.8 | +7.4 | outside top 50 |
Aubry produced the largest gain. Her three prior seasons left her at 1535.2; one full strategic run elevated her past her career peak and into the top 10 active US ratings. Rizo, with only Survivor 49 on his ledger, gained 99.5 from a previous 1557.5; the model treats his US50 line as the dominant input for a player with one prior season of data.
Joe entered at 1563.5, carried over from US48. A 19W-0L vote record over the 11 tribals he attended produced +60.4. The model does not penalize Joe for the FTC shutout in proportion to his strategic line; it weighs the jury matchups against his pre-FTC rating, which had risen to 1672.0. He gives back what the post-merge added but keeps the pre-merge and merge gains.
Jonathan's +42.8 is the most volatile arc on the cast. His pre-season 1594.6 dropped to 1561.3 by Episode 8 after a 0W-20L double-boot night; he recovered with seven consecutive correct post-merge votes, a fire-making win, and three FTC jury votes.
Survivor 50 is the first US season Aubry Bracco has won across four appearances. The model now has her at 1693.8, her career peak, and at active rank #6. The full final standings, episode pages, and historical comparisons are at survivorelo.com.
